Streamlining Communication and Documentation Capture with ISO
ISO aims to eliminate the inefficiencies of email communications between our Shipper customers transportation teams, customer logistics teams, and carriers. Our goal is to provide a streamlined process for understanding what happened during a shipment and capturing the necessary documentation to combat OTIF (On-Time In-Full) penalties.
Handling OTIF Penalties Efficiently
Imagine you have just received penalties from a retailer with a strict OTIF program. Instead of reviewing each Purchase Order individually within ISO, you can now bulk search all PO numbers from an Excel sheet or email within ISO. This feature allows you to pull back all shipments and corresponding orders, along with shipment details, exception types, and reason codes.
Benefits of the Bulk Search Feature
Quick Identification: Easily identify shipments that you can use to refute penalties with the retailer. For example, you can spot shipments with a late delivery exception due to no appointments being available.
Exception Management: When appropriate, you can individually or bulk create a Late Delivery RDD (Requested Delivery Date) exception for any shipment that does not already have one. This action will trigger the standard exception workflow with your carriers.
This streamlined approach helps you manage OTIF penalties more effectively, reducing the time spent on manual reviews and improving communication across your teams.
