When available, ISO will directly ingest reason codes from your TMS. However, we understand that there are occasions when the initially ingested reason codes may require updates to accurately reflect the cause of the service failure and, consequently, the responsible party.
Therefore, ISO allows you to review and update your reason codes. When a reason code is added or modified, the KPIs within your Scorecard will be updated to reflect accountability. For instance, if the reason code is changed from a carrier-driven code to a broker-driven code, the KPIs will acknowledge this change.
Following an update to a Reason Code, ISO will store the following information pertaining to the modification within the exception timeline:
the user that made the change
the previous reason code
the current reason code
the timestamp of the change
Ex: βUser_name
updated the reason code from previous_reason_code
to current_reason_code
on date_time

Update Reason Codes Within Exception Detail
Navigate to the Exception Detail Page (from either the exception table or by searching for the exception via the Search Bar)
Select the 'Edit' icon within the Reason Code model on the External timeline
Select the new reason code within the Update Reason Code modal
Select 'Save'
